Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to solve them.
Why can't I export a conversation?
Make sure you have a conversation open in ChatGPT and that the page has fully loaded. If you just navigated to the conversation, try refreshing the page first.
Why is my export empty or incomplete?
AI Chat Exporter captures the conversation as it was when the page loaded. Messages sent or received after that moment may not be included. For best results, reload the conversation before exporting.
The extension icon doesn't respond. What can I do?
Try refreshing the ChatGPT page. If the issue persists, remove and reinstall the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
